Bij Maud & Lesley mocht ik zingen met gitaar begeleiding tijdens de trouwceremonie.
Maud & Lesley hebben hun eigen festival terrein opgebouwd op een grasveld naast de zaak van de ouders van Maud. Al gaan de meeste credits waarschijnlijk uit naar Maud! 😉 Een prachtige ceremonie setting met stoeltjes en strobalen met dekens. Voor hunzelf een tof vintage bankje met een backdrop van smalle boomstammetjes… En natuurlijk de natuur als ‘bonus backdrop’!
Op het terrein heb ik mijn ogen uitgekeken, aan alles hadden ze gedacht! Een bar met bartafels en barkrukken, een lange gestylde tafel en een compleet tentenkamp omdat ze met hun beste vrienden allemaal bleven slapen! Qua aankleding hadden ze tapijten, tenten met kussens op de grond, wegwijsbordjes, een eigen bushalte, lichtletters M&L…Ze hadden zelfs een eigen festival poster en een festival polsbandje van…’I do outdoor’!! Fantastisch!

Ontzettend leuk en persoonlijk: De moeder van de bruid is trouwambtenaar… 3x raden wie het huwelijk voltrokken heeft? Juist! Jaqueline Coolen is trouwambtenaar bij de gemeente Leudal, een echte topper en een absolute tip als je in de gemeente Leudal gaat trouwen en een voorkeur mag aangeven!
Het bruidspaar kwam bij de ceremonie aan met hun zoontje in een golfkar, en ze vertrokken ook weer op dezelfde manier, maar dan met blikjes erachteraan en een bordje ‘Just married’…!
Super leuk bedacht…De hond kwam de ringen brengen! Hij hoefde niet aan de riem, maar kwam vanzelf naar ze toe, ze hadden de hond namelijk laten wachten in de dichtstbijzijnde bedrijfshal zodat hij vanzelf naar ze toe zou rennen als hij losgelaten zou worden. Aan zijn halsband hadden ze de ringen vastgemaakt. Ik was van tevoren benieuwd of dit nog voor grappige situaties zou zorgen, maar het bruidspaar had er van tevoren al alle vertrouwen in en dit bleek volledig terecht! 😉
